Workshops and Events Policy
Workshop days are an important part of the continuing training for Group Facilitators. The days also bring our network together, offering Group Facilitators the chance to share ideas and get to know each other better, building their support network.
Group Facilitators must attend one event per year as part of their ongoing training.
SRSH will provide travel grants – please see the SRSH policy on group facilitator travel .
The cost of workshop days for Group Facilitators will not exceed £10 per person, per event.
Group Facilitators should attempt to seek funding for workshop attendance if desired, suitable sources of funding may include, contribution from the Students Union or university, independent fundraising, grant applications.
If Group Facilitators are finding the £10 attendance fee restrictive, Group Facilitators should email the project manager and in exceptional circumstances this fee will be waived.

Should Group Facilitators fail to attend one event per year, action will be taken to review the viability of the Group Facilitator’s role within the SRSH project.
